The Joint entrance examination (hereinafter refereed as JEE) advanced examination 2020 is being conducted by the JAB with committee formed by the indian institute of technology from each zone of India. The registration of the JEE Advanced should be completed initially as a prerequisite for the application form. The JEE advanced 2020 application form can be accessed online through the website.
After registering in the online especially, it is imperious to note the instruction stated to fill up the procedures. As usual, valid name including first name, middle name and surname to be filled based upon the birth certificate or previous mark sheet. Certain documents are important to upload online which is part of the application are as follows
- Class X mark sheet with date of birth is mentioned or birth certificate
- Higher secondary examination (Class XII or equivalent) approved by the competent authority for candidates who appeared in 2019 or results declared in 2018.
- The name change certificate if is not in line with the birth certificate should be provided an alternate certificate attested by gazetted notification.
- Appropriate community certificates for candidates seeking under various categories such OBC-NCL, SC, ST and PwD as per the latest norms of government of india issued before 1st April 2020. However, if the certificate is not provided at the time of registration he/she may have to upload declaration to sum up.
For candidates who have been diagnosed by dyslexia will be required to submit a form such as DYSLEXIC 1 and 2 that can be downloaded online rather that PwD form. Notably, the addressing certification for the candidate should be termed as SEVERE in order to fulfil for the PwD quota benefits. Although, it is also granted in indian institute of technologies in order to evaluate the level of disability.
It is also made available for candidates who are in need of scribe services can send a let to the chairman of the zone coordinating indian institute of technology as FORM-SCRIBE. However, under the DS category, the candidates are required to submit FORM-DS issued by resettlement and rehabilitation, new delhi under the ministry of defence or the ministry of home affairs, govt of india
These scribe services can only be applicable to candidates who are falling in the categories such as visual impairment, diagnosed with dyslexia, limbs disability, condition of lost fingers or hands thereby not able to use the optical response sheet. This can be availed upon permission form the chairman as mentioned above. However, the request should be supported by the copy of PwD certificate, dyslexic condition during filling up of JEE Advanced 2020 Application form. Zonal centre will make necessary arrangements through the presiding officer to provide or allot scribes. These people may be belonging to class XII from science stream with maths as one of the course and PwD or dyslexic candidates can choose from this panel. The candidates can meet the scribes only one day before the examination in the presence of presiding officer representatives. The exclusion of candidature will be strictly monitored under the misuse scribe services for more than one hour or disability which don’t warrant to use the service.
Admit card post completion of JEE Advanced 2020 application form can be downloaded from the online portal. This card will contain the necessary information such as name, roll number, signature, photograph, date of birth, correspondence address and information of centre allotted. Any changes should be raised to the chairman of the respective zone. The admit should be retained with the candidate till the end of the admission process.
