MET REGISTRATION PROCESS :

The Manipal University Online Entrance Test or MET is the qualifying entrance exam for undergraduate B.Tech. courses. It will be conducted this year from the month of July  to August The results of this examination are used to determine the allocation of seats to applicants. 

The Registration Process for the MET will be discussed further in this article. 

To register for the MET, candidates must apply using the Online Application Form. The Online Application Form for the MET will be made available from the 9th of October 2019 onwards. The application for the exam can be done only online whereas payment of exam fees can be done either online or offline. Candidates are advised to complete the registration process by June 2020. This means that there is plenty of time for aspiring candidates to review their applications before submitting them.

The Registration Process for the MET itself is fairly simple. First the candidate has to assess if he or she meets the entry requirements. The entry requirements can be found on the Manipal University website. Then the candidate has to complete the Online Application Form by filling it. Then the application fee of Rs.2000 should be paid. This can be paid either online using netbanking, credit or debit card.

For candidates wishing to pay through offline methods, they have to use the Demand Draft option. The Demand Draft has to be in favour of “Manipal University”, payable at Udupi or Manipal. Candidates who wish to complete the payment part of the registration process offline must note that they are required to courier the print copy of the completed application form with the Demand Draft to “The Director, Admission, Manipal University, Manipal-576104”. 

Do not forget, the deadline to complete the entire registration process for the MET 2020 is June 2020. Once the registration process is complete, candidates can then book their exam slots in July 2020. Test centres are located all over the country and can be booked starting from July 2020. Candidates are advised to complete the registration process early so they can focus on preparing for the exam. Also any errors while registering can be corrected if the candidate applied early rather than leaving it to the last minute. It can be done either online or offline depending on the candidate’s preference.
