The VTUEEE 2020 form Filling Procedure is now made Easy to all the Aspirants

The Vel Tech Technical University Engineering Entrance Exam 2020 or VTUEEE 2020 is the undergraduate entrance test for admission to undergraduate engineering programs at the Chennai campus of Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology. The test is conducted both offline and online.

There are two phases to the exam-Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology

Phase I: – Phase I will be an offline test (pen and paper test) and will be held between 22nd to 26th January 2020. Announcement of VTUEEE 2020 Phase I Result – 15th February 2020.

Phase II: – Phase II is a mixture of offline (pen and paper) test and online test. Last date to apply VTUEEE 2020 Phase II – 31st May 2020.

The application for the VTUEEE 2020 will be released on October 5th, 2020. The application form can be found on the VTUEEE website. For details on notifications, the aspiring candidate should check the website first. There are three ways to obtain the application forms, namely, through the official website, offline at the center, and thorough Google plays store. The application form can be purchased at any of the VTU centers or offices by paying the application fee of Rs. 950 then and there. It can also be purchased at the VTU campus by paying the application fee of Rs.950. Candidates applying online can find the form in the website.

Before getting the application forms, candidates should always check the eligibility criteria and check if they meet them. The eligibility criteria for VTUEEE 2020 are that the candidate should be of Indian origin. Non-resident Indians can also apply in VTUEEE 2020 although candidates of foreign origin cannot appear in the exam.

Aspirants appearing in VTUEEE 2020 must be less than 25 years of age. The academic criteria are that Aspirants should have passed class XII from any state board/CBSE, New Delhi/CISCE, New Delhi/National Institute of Open School/ Intermediate or two-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognized Board or University /High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or equivalent.

They should have passed class 12 examinations with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics/Biology as an optional subject. Candidates pursuing their 12th or equivalent examination in March/April/May 2020 can also apply for VTUEEE 2020.

Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir and The North-Eastern states of Tripura, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh will have to produce Nativity Certificates at the time of admission.

Once candidates have ascertained that they meet eligibility requirements, they can proceed with applications.

For Phase 1 of the exam, the application form remains open from October 5th, 2020 to January 21, 2020. For Phase 2 of the examination, the application form is available from October 5, 2020, to April 15, 2020.

Candidates will have to fill  in the form by providing in the details asked. Candidates are advised to fill in the form carefully as there will be no chance for a correction once the form has been submitted. The following details will be asked from candidates in the form-

  • Personal details such as Name of the candidate, Parent Name, Occupation of a parent, Annual Income, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, and Religion. Candidates have to provide all the details asked.
  • Course details such as -Examination Choice (Offline or Online), Subject Choice (PCM or PCB), Choice of Exam Date,(Phase 1 or Phase 2) and Choice of Test Centre.
  • Qualifying Exam Details such as- Board Last Attended and Score Obtained, Year of Passing and Address of School.
  • Contact details.

Once the candidate has entered this information, they have to upload a passport-sized picture of themselves with their signature as well. The instructions for this will be given on the portal while applying. Candidates should adhere to the rules given there.

Once the application form has been filled and all details are ensured to be correct, the candidate has to pay the application fees of Rs. 950. This can be paid either online or offline. If paying online, candidates can pay through credit card, debit cards, net banking, etc.

Candidates who are not paying online should pay through demand draft drawn in favor of “Veltech Dr. RR & Dr. SR University”. Candidates will then have to send the Application Form along with the demand draft to:

Candidates should ensure that they either print or photocopy the application form once it’s been filled for reference.

Shortly after filling in the application form and submitting, the admit card will be made available (after the application  deadline).
