Exams for 10th CBSE and 12th CBSE 2021, this year have delayed due to lockdown which pertained for near about 6 to 7 months. The CBSE Exam 2021 was delayed this year because of the covid situations.

Due to the pandemic, the syllabus for both 10 and 12 exams has reduced to 70 percent of the syllabus. Board has also decided to give 33 percent internal choice questions. The schools will conduct the practical exams from the 1st of March.

The exams will be held following the COVID-19 pandemic protocols, wearing a face mask, carrying hand sanitizers are going to be a requirement and also social distancing will be maintained.

The examination in 2021 will last for 39 days. Board has also claimed that pupils are getting enough gaps between two exams. CBSE stated that the timetable is being released “Nearly three months before so that students can make their study plan and overcome the problems faced during the pandemic”.

CBSE tweeted – “The exam Date sheet has been prepared in such a manner that on any day, the total number of students in an examination center is limited. This will help the examination centers to strictly follow the Covid-19 safety norms.”

Exams are held in 30,000 subject combination. CBSE provides 240 subjects. This year nearly 1.8 million students will appear for class 10 exams. Candidates can decide their preparation plan according to the CBSE time table.
