IBSAT- ADMISSIONS, IMPORTANT DATES & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2020:

ICFAI is a deemed University which has its branches in Hyderabad, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Dehradun, Tripura, Meghalaya, ETC. ICFAI group was established in 1984. The University conducts a National level Entrance Test also known as IBSAT for a post-graduate course like MBA/PGDM.

It is a type of Joint Entrance Exam for all the branches of ICFAI institute. The University has released their application form on 3rd July 2020 on the official website of the university.

IMPORTANT DATES FOR IBSAT:

Application form commencement: – 3rd July 2020

Last date of registration: – 16th Dec 2020

IBSAT exam date: – 26th– 27th December 2020

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IBSAT:

Candidates should check their eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for MBA/PGDM candidates is given below:

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree from a UGC recognized University with a minimum of 50%.

Candidates with required marks in CAT, GMAT & NMAT can also apply for the application form.

IBSAT APPLICATION FORM:

The application form has been released by the University for PG candidates. Read below- given details to know more about the application form:

  • The application form is available online as well as offline mode.
  • Candidates are required to fill all the information very carefully with a valid Id proof, email address and a passport size photo.
  • The application form costs Rs.1800 for all candidates.
  • Candidates can deposit the application fees via debit/credit card or other payment methods.
IBSAT EXAM PATTERN:
  • The exam will be conducted in the CBT (Computer Based Test) mode in English language.
  • The question paper consists of 140 objective questions with a time limit of 2 hours.

SYLLABUS FOR IBSAT 2020:

The question paper includes mainly of 4 sections: –

  • Verbal ability includes English Grammar, fill in the blanks, jumbled paragraphs, idioms, ETC.
  • Data adequacy includes Visual reasoning, data interpretation based on graphs, linear arrangement, ETC.
  • Reading comprehension.
  • Quantitative aptitude includes Algebra, Averages, arithmetic progression, profit and loss, ETC.

SLOT BOOKING FOR IBSAT:

The slot booking will be done based on the application form submitted by the candidate. While filling the form candidates have to fill their personal information, 10+2 level information, Bachelor’s degree information, exam centre according to their comfort, ETC.

The slot booking is done, based on the first book- first serve purpose. Candidates can also choose the seat in their preferred courses by login their application number and date of birth.

IBSAT ADMIT CARD:

The admit card will be released by the University before one or two weeks of the entrance exam. Candidates have to visit the official website to log in their Id and download the admit card.

Every candidate must carry there admit along with a passport size photo at the examination centre otherwise entry will not be given to the candidates.

RESULT 2020:

The result is announced in January 2020 by the University on their official website. Candidates will also receive an email which will consist of a merit list and result of the candidate.

Candidates will be shortlisted according to the merit list announced by the University.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE 2020:

The admission will be done based on CAT, GMAT, NMAT and IBSAT merit list. Candidates with required rank/marks will be eligible for the final admission in the university. Candidates are required to carry all the important documents with them at the time of admission like aadhar card, 10+2 level qualification, migration, character and transfer certification, etc.

After the selection of a candidate, candidates should deposit their admission fee for the allotment of seat in their respective course.
