MET Application form 2020
The Manipal University Online Entrance Test or MET is the common entrance test for Engineering programs in the Manipal University institutions, namely Manipal University Jaipur, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal and Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology. Candidates wishing to apply to engineering courses in these universities must clear this exam in order to be considered for admission. The exam is conducted from July ,2020 to August 2020. Candidates need to submit their application form and register by June 30th. The MET application form 2020 will be discussed further in this article.
The first and foremost step in registering for the MET 2020 is completing the application form. The application form can be filled only online and it can be found on the Manipal University website. The MET application form will be available from October 5,2020 onwards.
Before filling in the application form, candidates must first check if they meet the eligibility requirements. The eligibility requirements can again be found on the university website. Once that stage is crossed, the candidate can then proceed with actually filling in the application form.
In the application form, the candidate has to give details like Contact details, Education qualifications, courses which they are intending to apply to, etc. Candidates should ensure that they fill in correctly all the required information. The MET application form 2020 has to be submitted by June 2020. This gives the candidate ample time to go through their forms and ensure that all details are correct.
Once the application form has been filled and submitted, candidates have to make the payment for exam fees. The exam fees come upto Rs 1600. This can be done online using netbanking, debit or credit card OR it can be done offline by Demand Draft under “Manipal University” payable at Udupi or Manipal.
Filling in the application form isn’t too difficult as long as one follows a few things. First thing is to start filling it early. The MET application form 2020 is made available online towards the end of October 2019 and candidates have until June 2020 to complete and submit it. But that does not mean one should leave it till the last minute. Any corrections or clarifications can be done early if started early. Secondly, if the candidate has any doubts about any section of the form, he or she should contact the university directly instead of filling in wrong details and complicating matters. Thirdly, the sooner the candidate gets the application form out of the way, the more time he or she can devote to preparing for the exam.
Once application form is filled and sent and payment has been made, the candidate can then book an exam slot in the month of July 2020. In conclusion the process of completing the application form for the exam is fairly simple if done correctly. It enables the candidate to register to take the test and hopefully even obtain a place at the prestigious Manipal University.
